DOJABA Congratulates Kristen Clarke on Nomination to be Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights

DOJABA congratulates Kristen Clarke on her nomination to be the Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division! Kristen started her career in the Civil Rights Division, where she handled cases of police misconduct, hate crimes, human trafficking, voting rights, and redistricting cases. She currently serves as the President and Executive Director of the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law and previously served as the head of the Civil Rights Bureau for the New York State Attorney General’s Office, among other posts. Kristen has been an unwavering supporter of DOJABA and served as the Keynote Speaker during our 30th Anniversary Celebration in 2019. We are thrilled about Kristen’s return to the Department and confident that she will do an excellent job leading the Civil Rights Division.
