DOJABA Member Spotlight for January 2022 : Paulette Fogle

Paulette joined DOJ in 2015 as a Legal Assistant in the Environment and Natural Resources Division.  Within a couple of short years, she was promoted to Paralegal, where she has continued to do a phenomenal job and inspire her colleagues.  One of her favorite sayings is “teamwork makes the dream work,” and she is always willing to go above and beyond for the team.  Ask around—you want Paulette on your trial team!

Paulette attended University of Maryland Baltimore County where she was literally a track star.  As a student athlete, Paulette learned about her own inner strength, and she hopes to draw from that strength to advocate for others.  Paulette has seen firsthand the effects our legal system can have on individuals, and that exposure drew her to the legal profession. Before joining DOJ, Paulette worked at the Prince George’s County State Attorney’s Office.  Additionally, Paulette recently earned her Juris Doctor through American University Washington College of Law’s evening program, and in her “spare” time, she also completed two judicial externships.

Anyone who meets Paulette knows she is an amazing, hard-working advocate and professional. She puts people first, always. When she’s not working, she spends time with friends and family, and she holds various leadership positions at her church.

Paulette is a rising star, who is not likely to be with us for much longer.  So, please join us as we salute her.

We celebrate your excellence, Paulette!
