DOJABA Partners with D.C. Bar for Pro Bono Clinic – June 29, 2024

DOJABA is offering another opportunity to engage in pro bono work with the D.C. Bar Advice & Referral Clinic on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at The Michelle Obama SE Center of Bread for the City, located at 1700 Marion Barry Avenue SE, Washington, DC. We need both attorneys and paralegal support staff to help at this clinic, which has a mostly Black client base. The clinic will run 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Please see the attachment for more details and email Sharion Scott (sharion.scott@usdoj.gov) to sign up or get more information.

Also, please note that DOJ requires employees to obtain approval for all pro bono legal work. If you have questions about the approval process, we encourage you to review this FAQ page or watch this video from the DOJ Pro Bono Office. You can also direct your approval questions to your component’s pro bono representative.
