Lifting as We Climb: Mentors Needed

Mentors, Inc. @ Kid Power is seeking volunteers to be mentors!  This organization aims to increase the graduation rates and the success of vulnerable students in District Columbia Public Schools by pairing them with caring adult volunteers in structured and enriched mentoring relationships that promote their personal, academic and career development.

DOJABA Chair, Oneshia Herring, is a former mentor and currently sits on the Board of Directors for Kid Power. She encourages all DOJABA members to volunteer. To become a mentor or learn more, email volunteer@kidpower.org.
