Angella N. Middleton is an Assistant United States Attorney in the Narcotics and Organized Crime Division of the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. In this role, Ms. Middleton prosecutes importation of illegal narcotics, interstate, large-scale or organized drug trafficking. Ms. Middleton also prosecutes other forms of organized crime, including economic crimes and fraud schemes. Prior to joining the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Ms. Middleton was a litigation associate at the law firm of Saul Ewing where her practice focused on white collar/government enforcement matters, internal investigations, and employment litigation. Ms. Middleton is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Rutgers Law School. While in law school, Angella served as president of the Black Law Students’ Association, University Senator in the Student Bar Association, associate editor of the Journal of Law & Religion, and won spots on the school’s intramural and external mock trial competition teams. As a practicing lawyer, Angella has served as adjunct instructor for the Rutgers Law School Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Team and led the team to two regional titles. Ms. Middleton currently serves as Vice Chancellor for the Rutgers Law School Alumni Association and co-chair of the scholarship committee for the Barristers’ Association of Philadelphia.
