SUKENNA STOKES

Sukenna W. Stokes began her career with the Federal Bureau of Prisons as a Correctional Officer at FCI Talladega, Alabama in January 1999. During her tenure at FCI Talladega, she was selected for various positions of increasing responsibility. Namely, Legal Instruments Examiner in November 2000, temporarily promoted to a Lieutenant in August 2005, Special Investigative Support Technician in December 2005, and Case Manager in July 2008. In December 2010, she was appointed to act in the capacity of Unit Manager, and Case Management Coordinator in 2012. In February 2017, she transferred to FCC Forrest City, Arkansas after being promoted to Complex Case Management Coordinator. In December 2018, Ms., Stokes was appointed to act in the capacity of Associate Warden at FCC Forrest City on a continuous basis. In February 2019, she was promoted to her current position as Regional Correctional Programs Administrator.
Sukenna is a native of Sylacauga, Alabama. She graduated from Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice, and received her Juris Doctor from Miles Law School in Birmingham, Alabama.
